Jacobs Journal of Earth Science aims to understand the present features and the past evolution of the Earth and to apply this useful knowledge, where appropriate, for the benefit of humankind. Thus, the basic concern of geoscientists is to describe, observe, and classify all the features of the Earth, whether characteristic or not, to generate hypotheses with which to explain their presence and their growth, and to devise means of checking opposing ideas for their relative validity.
Jacobs Journal of Earth Science goal is to become an open source of information to publish articles on discoveries and cutting edge research in the form of original articles, review articles, case reports, short communications, etc. related to Earth Science.
